Ticket for 'Operational History of The Vulcan' presentation by Andy Marson and Barry Masefield.

Sqn Ldrs (Ret'd) Andy Marson and Barry Masefield both flew as rear crew ( navigator and AEO respectively ) in Vulcan B2 aircraft during the latter stages of the Cold War. Andy will talk not only on the development of the Vulcan from its inception to demise from service, but also how it became more potent as a weapon system during this period. Following the break, Barry will brief a typical Cold War mission and finish with how these procedures had to be rapidly changed for the actual operational sorties the aircraft flew, namely the Black Buck strikes in 1982. (Barry was the AEO on Black Buck 2).

18.00hrs Doors open.

18.30hrs prompt - presentation starts.

Presentation will last about 3 hours. Merchandise, raffle and refreshments will be available to purchase.

Q&A session will close the evening.
