This is a donation towards the Winter service of XH558

We plan to exchange two of the engines in XH558 and bring in two of the low-time units from our engine bay in Hinckley in a process that will give best engine life management between the engines we have available to us. 

Just 300 shares @ £50 each are available  - Total finance needed - £15,000 

Although these costs are factored in with our overall budget requirements, and the majority of our costs are from internal labour, there will be external costs of some £15,000 that will need to be covered to prevent diversion of valuable funding from other areas. 

Just preparing the engines for shipment together with the associated hire of lifting gear and low loader transporters can account for at least half that budget before they get anywhere near to XH558 and our team of engineers at Doncaster. 

You can help by supporting our new share issue of  ‘Engine Swap’ with each share being priced at £50. It is hoped that this work can be started immediately after Christmas. You will receive a certificate of support in the name specified and a listing on the Winter Service Plaque of 2012.
