The Trust have teamed up with Bletchley Park Post Office to issue a commemorative stamp sheet for the 30^th anniversary of “Operation Black Buck”, the epic raids by Vulcan Bombers on Port Stanley airfield.

The A4 sheet has been specially designed for VTST for this Diamond Jubilee Year and Royal Mail will only print a limited edition of 558 individually numbered sheets.  The issue will be revealed to the general public at the London stamp show tomorrow (Wednesday 22^nd February) for release on 30^th April 2012, the 30^th Anniversary of the first “Black Buck” raid. VTST supporters have this opportunity to secure their copies before it goes on general release. These editions usually sell out quickly leading to a significant rise in values soon after the edition closes.

Alongside 10 1^st Class Union Flag stamps and set against a Falklands background are 10 iconic Vulcan images commemorating the first and only time the Vulcan flew in anger. The combination of image design and descriptive text makes each sheet a collector’s piece to be treasured. So early ordering is essential to avoid disappointment.
