  • All participants must have valid up-to-date photo I.D.
    • This must be a Photographic Driver's Licence Card or UK Passport.
  • Attendees must be 16+ and have their own photo I.D.​​​
  • 16 and 17 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult.

IMPORTANT: In the email confirming your order, you will be given guidelines for providing the names and ID details of all those attending your visit.

This detail is required in advance of your visit to arrange security passes for your access to the airfield through airport security.

Your visit will include a meet-and-greet briefing at The Harvey Arms, Finningley. This includes free parking and tea or coffee followed by return transport to see XH558.
​​​​You will spend approx. 90 minutes with the aircraft.​​​

Your Vulcan XH558 Airside Tour
  • Arrive at The Harvey Arms in the village of Finningley, just a short journey away from Doncaster Sheffield Airport, at the start of your visit for a meet-and-greet briefing with tea or coffee, and produce your valid photo I.D. for your security pass to be completed.
  • Board the coach and take in your security briefing, before passing through security on the airport to the secure area on the airfield where XH558 is parked.
  • You will spend approx. 90 minutes at the aircraft, which will include:
    • An underwing tour, to see names if applicable
    • Ask our Volunteer Engineering Team about the work currently being carried out on the aircraft - such as changing oils, inspections, tests and minor repairs
    • Time in the cockpit (COVID-19 rules permitting) with a short talk from an engineer
    • The bomb-bay doors will be swung and control surfaces exercised
  • At the end of your visit you will board the bus and return to the meeting point.

There will be plenty of photo opportunities for you to capture the memory, to show to family and friends.

Our volunteer team are Covid-19 tested prior to each event to minimise the risk of exposure to coronavirus on your visit.
