Detailed woven patch, with Scorpion logo and "60th Anniversary | World Altitude Record Holder - 1957" text.

80mm (3") wide, 50mm (2") high, designed to be sewn or ironed onto existing clothing.

On 28th August 1957, WK163 captured the world altitude record. Fitted with a Napier "Double Scorpion" NScD1/2 rocket motor WK163 achieved a height of 70,310 feet. After its record breaking flight the scorpion and record detail were painted onto WK163's nose.
