AVRO Vulcan XH558 - ECU 620338 - Section of Jet Pipe Clamp

Up to 1965 Olympus engines carried a 'Rolls-Royce Bristol' engine plate, after then 'Bristol' was dropped from the description. This piece was removed from an original Rolls-Royce Bristol Olympus 202 Turbojet, Engine Change Unit (ECU) 620338. 

The ECU was fitted to XH558 during her flying career with Vulcan to the Sky Trust. The clamp was replaced following terminal engine damage in May 2012.

The purpose of the clamp was to provide secure connection between the Engine Exhaust Cone unit and the Jet Pipe.

• Each section comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity which displays the position of the section on the ECU
• Approximate size: 210 m/m Length x 35 m/m Width (widest part)
• The piece is presented in a branded black and silver hinged display box
