This opportunity is only available for a limited time!
25 May 2020 is the 60th anniversary of XH558's first test flight. To celebrate this Diamond Anniversary we're offering you the chance to have your name under the wing and become part of her history.
For a £30 donation you will be honoured with a name on XH558’s Wing, together with a named certificate confirming this, which becomes a collectable keepsake and is also ideal as a gift to a relative or friend.
This represents a great opportunity to dedicate a name in memory of a loved one, or a member of the family who served in the V-Force, the RAF or other armed forces. Perhaps a family member who was employed by Avro or has another connection with Vulcans or aviation over their lifetime? Or possibly someone you know who has huge enthusiasm for the Vulcan?
Your name will be written discreetly on the underside of XH558’s Wing on a special 'Diamond Anniversary of the First Test Flight’ commemorative plaque.

We have allocated areas on the wing, upon which we will apply plaques made up of the names in small lettering, recognising the 60th anniversary of XH558's first test flight on 25 May 1960. This remarkable aircraft went on to become the first Vulcan B.Mk2 to commence RAF service on 1 July 1960. Only visible upon close viewing, the plaques will not detract from the aesthetic appearance of the aircraft and will remain in place for her lifetime, being replaced if the surfaces are painted in future. Your donation will be a contribution towards the work of the Vulcan to the Sky Trust in safeguarding XH558 and promoting all she stands for. Your kind support will also be recognised with a personalised certificate, which will be posted to you. |
Please make sure you specify the name required on each certificate
and please double-check spelling.
What we receive will be the name entered on the certificate and placed on the aircraft.
A name will be honoured for every £30 donation.
Thank you for your donation!
The artwork on XH558 will be applied and revealed online on the 1 July 2020, which is the 60th anniversary of when she was delivered to RAF Waddington and became the first Vulcan B.Mk2 to commence RAF service
When the artwork is applied on 1 July 2020 you will be able to see a listing of the names together with photographs.
Please note: A £2 postage cost will be applied to your order. This covers the admin and postage cost of your certificate, ensuring the maximum benefit of your donation reaches us.
